Seriously though, you should all listen to this version. There’s a raw sadness in it which is missing from the poppier final product, and cutting out the “he” pronouns and references to one boy in particular shifts the focus dramatically. Suddenly the song isn’t all about one perfect unattainable boy - it’s about one girl’s very private heartbreak. It’s ALL about that. And as much as I always enjoyed the official version, cutting out the specific references to Drew make this one so much more accessible. It feels so much more immediate too. Taylor isn’t taking a step back and telling you a story - she’s voicing, directly to the object of her affections, everything she wishes she could say. It makes for a much stronger song, and I’m curious as to why “Drew” was added at all. (Obviously I have my own theories.)
i need you all to understand that it is vital for each and every person on this planet to get involved in politics. I dont care if you find it stressful or youre too busy or lazy or whatever excuse you have, this world will fucking end because racist xenophobic fascists will go out and vote and get their way. UNLESS WE STOP THEM AND VOTE IN LARGER NUMBERS. you need to research your local government, and this isnt just for americans this is to EVERYONE, read up on their votes, keep track of the decisions and how they affect you and the community and the world.
The results of the brexit vote has proven that donald trump can win. He can because nationalism works, and fear is a better motivator than anything else. You matter, your vote matters, your voice matters, never be silent and never ever let someone make you feel like its over. VOTE.
There is a petition to try and call another referendum about the EU, with a rule asking for a 60% majority before a decision is made. Yes this is a shitty time, but hopefully there’s still a chance to fix things. The Leave campaign have already gone back on some of their promises before the referendum, so please, if you can, can you sign this? If we get 100 000 signatures parliament have to debate it, so please. Even if you’re not in the UK if you can share this to try and get it out there, that would be fantastic. Here’s the link:

Vancouver, June 29th 2013, 22 and Sparks Fly - the Red Tour: the concert in which taylor appears to have mysterious red marks on her neck and chest which resemble imprints from a red-lipped kiss. we were quick to assume this had happened by a female friend of taylor kissing her neck during a costume change.
this is a long post, so bear with me.
when these posts were gaining popularity, we had tons of swifties messaging us, trying to tell us there’s no way those were kiss marks, and i wanted to prove them wrong, because it was so hard to come up with another logical explanation for the red lipstick shade marks on taylor. but in my searching, i only proved myself wrong. i felt sad that so many of us were so convinced taylor has been kissed during her concert, and i didn’t want to be a buzz kill, if you will, but now i’m totally going to be a buzz kill. i think it is important for the fandom to recognize incorrect assumptions we had often stated as fact.
taylor begins performing 22 on the main stage. her neck is clean of any red marks (sorry for the excess of screen caps).
throughout the song, taylor is carried by her dancers to the B-stage to finish the 22 performance. upon completion, she removes her 22 jacket and sits to perform the secret B-stage song, Sparks Fly. there is no costume change. there is no opportunity for her to be alone and kissed by a woman. she does not leave to spotlight.
during Sparks Fly, taylor walks through the crowd with her security, making her way to the main stage while singing and hugging fans along the way. by watching the video closely, you can see her neck is still clean.
when taylor nears the front of the crowd, she stops to tightly and closely hug a girl with red swirling face paint. the girl’s face is nuzzled into taylor’s neck and chest. the paint comes off onto taylor because she is sweaty (it was difficult to screen cap because it happens very quickly but it’s obvious from watching the video).
you can see the girl’s swirling, red face paint and see how her face is pressed against taylor’s cheek and neck as they hug tightly, which is exactly where the red prints appear on taylor, visible when she is back on the main stage.
at which point between the beginning of 22, with a clean neck, to the end of Sparks Fly, does taylor have an opportunity to be alone for a girl to kiss her chest and neck?
the red swirling face paint explains the odd shapes of ‘lip marks’ that do not look like anyone had kissed her.
so, as much as any of us would like to believe taylor had a few cute neck kisses from a lady during her setlist, this isn’t possible. it’s no fun for anyone to find out we weren’t correct in the assumption she had been kissed by a girl, but this face paint can’t be used as ‘evidence’ of taylor’s sexuality. sorry, no kisses, just face paint from an enthusiastic fan who hugged a very sweaty taylor swift.
